Around the next day, Gavin ran in late for work. The boys have slight looks at the Brit before waving it off. Of course Gavin felt bad, but he ignored the rude looks and sat down beside Michael.

Gavin wasn’t really himself today. He didn’t really talk to anyone, and no one talked to him. It was the most quiet Gavin has ever been.

By lunch time everyone left the office, leaving it just him and Michael.

Of course, at Gavin’s late entrance, Michael clicked his tongue in annoyance and made a sly remark about it. However, he furrowed his eyebrows when he didn’t receive as much as a glance in return. This was confusing to the brunet because since he first saw Gavin, he could tell the Briton was one to make remarks back or stand his ground. The silence was strange and unwelcomed, honestly…

When lunch time rolled around, Michael was ready to get up and leave with the other guys. However, something was nagging at him to stay behind and talk to his office mate. So when everyone left, Michael just plopped back down in his chair and rolled over to Gavin’s side.

"What’s up?" He asked, implying a question toward his silence rather than a current event.

Gavin continued to stay silent, keeping his head down as everyone passed him without a word. It slightly startled the brit when Michael asked him what was up. Gavin didn;t turn yet though, he remained in his spot, staring at a stain near his feet.

"I…" Gavin began, but couldn’t find the words to finish. He could almost feel the tears welling up in his eyes already, and he had barely said one word.

Instead, Gavin shook his head and raised his hands to his face to prevent Michael from seeing his tears.

Gavin tilted his head a bit, seeing the other get sort of confused, but shrugged it off and smiled. “Toppers! Thanks Micoo!” Gavin laughed lightly before grabbing his bag and sighed a bit as if he where thinking of something.

"Hmm? Oh yeah sure. It’s not overly far. I mean I…

Through the day, after recording their new minecraft, he spent most of his time editing and drink most of the red bull. Before long Gavin realized it was time to go, and he found it was only him and Michael.

Gavin got up from his chair, stretching his arms over his head, causing his shirt to raise so slightly. He grabbed his sweater and looked around the office before sighing. “That Mingy spaff left without me.” He turned to the other with a slight apologetic smile. “I know you’re new but… Do you possibly think you could lend me a ride?”

Michael blinked and snapped out of his daze. He could almost feel his eyes lighten up back to their original color. “What?” He asked, without thinking about it. “Uh… Sure?” He responded. ‘Perfect, now I could actually see how to get to his place!’

He picked up his bag and slung it over his shoulder. “You’re gonna have direct me where to go. I’m not exactly from around here or been here a while, so I don’t wanna get you lost if anything.”

I mean I could walk… but it’s just getting a bit dark." Gavin could feel his cheeks getting slightly warm, causing him to turn away from the other rather quickly. "Alright lets go!"

Once on the road Gavin directed the other down each road. He stayed quiet most of the time, just looking out the window until he needed to tell the other to turn, until finally they arrived at his place. “Here’s good. Thanks Michael, see you tomorrow!” gavin jumped out and waved to the car before walking into his place.

Gavin cheered in delight before looking back. “Yeah, ran out of the week stuff. Was all I could find.” He gave a little laugh before making his way back. “The strong stuff is more fun anyway.”

"I s’ppose strong makes you get up into a good mood faster," he didn’t take that…

Gavin laughed as he finally began to stand still. “Yeah, stronger ones are tippy toppers.” He gave a little nod “the names gavin. And yours would?”

As the day progressed the room began to get louder and more hectic. Gavin was one of the loudests. With each game they recorded during the day, no matter what, Gavin would always make his weird squeaking noises.

"Ah, Geoff bugger off you mingy little spaff!" Gavin yelled as Geoff chased the him around in Minecraft, trying to kill him for a gold block. Geoff succeeded though, which caused Gavin to squeal and jump in his seat.

"Micool! Get the block from Geoff!" Gavin yelled with a huge grin on his face.

Michael repressed the urge to groan or get up and punch Gavin in the throat with each sound he made. Instead, he just questioned it with an annoyed tone and moved on with playing the game they all were recording for. He had to let out a laugh when Gavin’s character got killed, but as Gavin yelled at him to get the block he remembered that his team would lose.

"Oh fuck no!" Michael exclaimed, making his character chase Geoff’s. It even surprised him how into the game he got. The human world really was more entertaining than the little pit he lived in in hell. He shook his head ever so slightly, though, to dismiss the thought. He shouldn’t be thinking that. He stood on earth to get what he wanted and he wasn’t going to leave until he got it.

"You’re so fucking dead!" He said, furiously smashing his button to kill Geoff’s character. After the deed was done, he picked up the dropped items —including the block and the additional three to complete the set — and began to run. He could hear the opposing team bitch about him getting the block and yelling to chase after him. "Damn it, where was I supposed to go again?" He asked, but ended up finding the place to erect it. "Never mind, found it!" He said, jumping on the base block and beginning to build the tower. "Boom, boom, boom, boom! Four blocks, fuck yeah!"

Gavin squealed as he watched Michael chase down Geoff. Every few seconds Gavin would yell out ” Geoff you look out, Michael’s got you!” Than when it actually happened, Gavin started jumping in his seat in excitement.

"That way! That way Micool!" Gavin yelled out again, his accent becoming a bit stronger in excitement. "Erect the tower of pimps! Hurry they’re catching up!" Gavin was leaning over Michael’s shoulder, mouth wide with excited happiness.

When the tower was erected, Gavin jumped up, arms raised in celebration. “We won! The Tower of pimps is ours once more!” Gavin laughed, sitting back down before looking over at Michael. “Good job boi!”

Gavin smiled and quickly offered the bottle. “There’s a glass in the kitchen if you’d like.” Happy, Gavin danced off a bit to the radio, turning it on.

"Ah, glasses are no fun." He took the body and held it up to him in a brief motion for cheers before sipping. His face contorted as the liquor burned his throat and he let out a muffled cough. "Bit strong, isn’t it?" he looked over to the dancing Gavin.

Gavin cheered in delight before looking back. “Yeah, ran out of the week stuff. Was all I could find.” He gave a little laugh before making his way back. “The strong stuff is more fun anyway.”

"Thanks." She says, floating behind him. "And I’ve been in this house for…" She thinks for a minute. "40 years, give or take." She answers.

He sits on his bed with a nod. “40 huh? That’s pretty cool. ” He smiled, watching her float on. “So… What caused it?”

"A douche bag." She said simply, grimacing at the memory. It may have been 40 years, but it still wasn’t something she liked to think about.

"Oh.. I’m sorry. I won’t ask too much about that." He looked around. "DO you remember which room used to be yours?" He looked up at her with a smile.

"The one next door to this one." She answers with a smile. "Doesn’t look like much of a bedroom anymore, but it did when I lived here."

"That’s pretty top!" He laid down, looking up at the ceiling. "People always said this house was haunted. Though, I still wouldn’t call it that." He smiled. "You’re less of a ‘haunt’ and more of ‘company’ .
